An small plane crashed near a High School in San Diego County Monday around noon. It appears the plane crashed into nearby homes.
The aircraft went down near North Magnolia Avenue and 2nd street, smoke could be seen for miles.
Santana High School tweeted:
“All Students are Secure. There was a plane crash 2 or 3 blocks away. We are currently in a ‘Secure Campus.’”
The Santee Fire Department and the San Diego Sheriff’s Department are both on scene.
It was not immediately known what type of plane was involved or how many people were on-board. The extent of injuries on the ground are also unclear.
Although there are reports that Kids are safe but the plane hit a UPS truck, killing the driver; two homes are on fire.
Also, reports of human remains found in a backyard.
