Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he’s not received any assurances from the board over his job future.
United meet Tottenham needing victory to ease pressure on the manager.
“I’m going to go all in now for a result on Saturday. That’s the only thing we can do.
“We need a reaction and a result. I never give up.”
United have taken just a single point from their last four league games.
And Solskjaer revealed he has spoken to the board since the thumping by their Merseyside rivals but it is not for him to ask for backing over his job.
“I’ve had communication with the board and I don’t expect them to give me assurances.
“When you have a performance and a spell like we’ve had, that’s not what I call about and say.
“We’re in a poor run of form. My job is to put things right and that’s what I’m trying to do.
“I’m not here to ask for assurances.”
